The Administrative Options allow the Administrator to “set-up” or pre-program information in the handheld before it is sent out into the field. The names of operators, locations, and the depth unit: feet or metres can be set ahead of time.

The Administrator also has the ability to delete any or all of the surveys stored in the e-SYNC, as well as change the administrator password.

Turn on the handheld:

This brings you to:

This screen gives you 3 options:

1. Start Advanced

2. Start Simple

3. Close Program

Press the “Start Advanced" or "Start Simple" button

This brings you to:

   (Advanced Mode)

or

    (Simple Mode)

Press the “Work with Stored Data" button

This brings you to:

Press the "Delete Single Survey" button:

This will return you to:

Screen 25 – Select Records for Deletion

This screen shows a summary of all the surveys that are stored in the e-SYNC.

By pressing the “-” and “+” buttons you can move through the records.

Select the record you would like to delete.

Press the "Delete " button:

Screen Info: Delete this Survey? Pressing OK will permanently delete the survey.

Press OK - Survey will be permanently deleted.

Press Cancel to return to the previous screen.

Press the "OK" button:

This will return you to:

You will be returned to this screen after each survey is deleted.

Once you are done deleting press the back button

Press the "Back" button:

This will return you to:

Press the "Delete All Surveys" button:

This will bring you to:

Pressing the "Delete all Surveys" button will permanently delete all surveys in the handheld.

Pressing the "Emergency Erase" button will delete all data in the e-SYNC.

Pressing the "Cancel" button returns you to the Administrative Options Menu.

Press the "Cancel" button:

To change the password:

• Click anywhere inside the “Old Password Box”
• Click on the keyboard button located on the bottom centre of the handheld screen.
• Input the old password.
• Click anywhere inside the “New Password Box”
• Input the new password.
• Click anywhere inside the “Confirm Password Box”
• Input the new password a second time.
• Close keyboard by clicking on its on/off button

Press the "Done" button:

This returns you to:

This screen gives you 2 options:

1) Imperial (feet)

2) Metric (metres)  

Select your preference.

Press the "Done" button:
